What is a Claude Skill?
A skill is a reusable instruction that tells Claude exactly how to handle a specific task. Think of it like a recipe card; instead of explaining what you want from scratch every time, you just use the skill and it does the work for you.
Each skill is a simple text file with no programming required. You drop it into your project folder or add it to your Claude skills library on desktop/web, and it becomes a command you can use anytime within your project.
